2. Science Museum

The Science Park is an interactive facility, a fun place for kids and adults where children learn through science experiments and activities.

There are rooms for all ages and a large outdoor entertainment area, as well as picnic tables. Additionally, there is a cafeteria and a restaurant.

Admission to the Planetarium and the Biodome are optional, but highly recommended.

There is usually a wide variety of interesting workshops every day, so don't forget to ask for the program at the entrance. They are all free.

3. Sierra Nevada with Family

Sierra Nevada is an ideal place to visit with children.

In winter there are many great event and snow activities that you can enjoy with the family.

Either in the Dreamland area of the ski slopes, in the Hoya de la Mora with the sledges, or in the recreational Mirlo Blanco, fun is guaranteed.

In summer, on the other hand, astrotourism, hiking and bicycle routes are organized, among other things.

If you want to try cross-country skiing, you should visit Puerto de la Ragua, on the other side of Sierra Nevada.

As it does not have the same altitude as Sierra Nevada, you are not always guaranteed snow.

4. García Lorca Park

Inaugurated in 1992 on the grounds of the former home of the García Lorca family, it is the largest park in Granada.

Here you will find everything a family with small children needs to enjoy a day outdoors.

Among other things: a large playground with swings and zip lines, extensive gardens, and lawns to relax and run without fear.

There is also a small lake with ducks and a couple of kiosks with tables to have an aperitif and regain strength.

5. Memory of Andalusia Museum

A very original building located just opposite the Parque de las Ciencias (Science Museum) houses the Museo Memoria de Andalucía.

The visits for families are organized around three main themes: the history of Andalusia, the Vega de Granada (fertile valley of Granada,) and Al Andalus.

The first two are for boys and girls from 4 to 12 years old and cost 4 euros. These workshops must be booked in advance.

Children and adults will learn about the cultural heritage of Andalusia through investigative games with clues, activities and fun workshops.

6. Baboo Park Children's Play Center

It is a large leisure center located in the Alhsur Shopping Center, on the road to La Zubia.

They have a ball pool, trampolines, slides, etc. Here, children from 4 to 11 years old can spend a fun afternoon playing.

There is a special area for the little ones (from 0 to 3 years old) that is currently only open for birthdays.

In the Babbo coffee area, parents can have some time to sit, relax, and enjoy the cafeteria-pastry shop while watching their children play.

Opening times: Saturdays and Sunday from 17:00 to 20:00.

During the week birthdays and children's parties are celebrated here. On weekends, you can pay per hour.
